Chandra Taal lake is situated on the Samudra Tapu plateau, which overlooks the Chandra River. The name of the lake originates from its crescent shape. It is situated at an altitude of about 4,300 metres (14,100 ft) in the Himalayas. Chandra Taal is a tourist destination for trekkers and campers. The lake is accessible on foot from Batal as well as from Kunzum Pass from late May to early October(Source: Wikipedia).

Well, the trip is going to cover 3 main destinations namely, Manali, Kunzum La and finally Chandrataal Lake. We will be enjoying not just the company of cool travellers but also of incredible valleys, heart-beat raising passes and majestic mountains. Below are the details on the tour itinerary for the trip.

Tour Itinerary

*Trip Starts from – 25th July(Dates will be Flexible as per the batch formations)*

Day – 1 :  Arrival at The Lost Tribe Hostels(TLT)

  • Explore Waterfalls Hike & Short River Hike
  • Evening – Bonfire & music
  • Dinner at Hostel
  • Overnight stay at Hostel

Day – 2 : TLT – Kunzum La Pass

  • After breakfast, leave for Kunzum La Pass via Batal
  • By Evening arrival at Campsite
  • Bonfire & music
  • Dinner at Campsite
  • Overnight stay at Campsite

Day – 3 : Visit Chandertal Lake

  • After breakfast at camp, head for the Chandertal Lake
  • Reach Campsite by afternoon and head to the lake
  • Stargazing Photography ☑
  • Dinner at Campsite
  • Overnight stay at Campsite

Day – 4 : Chandertal Lake – TLT

  • After breakfast, head back to Manali via Rohtang pass (1 hour stop)
  • By evening reach hostel
  • Bonfire & music
  • Dinner at Hostel
  • Overnight stay at Hostel

Day – 5 : Departure Day

  • After breakfast
  • Check-out from Hostel

BOOKING POLICY

The Above package can be booked by paying a token amount which is 50% of the total amount for booking.

The remaining 50% should be paid after arrival at Manali.

POSTPONE / PREPONE POLICY

20% of the total amount of the package is charged for any postpone or prepone of the tour.*

If postponed, the package shall be valid for one year from the date of booking (conditions apply).

CANCELLATION POLICY

Any booking canceled same day of the booking day there will be 90% Refund.

Any booking canceled between 10 Days there will be 50% refund only if 50 % advance has been paid, but the company is not liable to refund any amount if the booking amount is less than 50% of the total package amount.

Any reservation canceled between 14 days, there will be no refund. Payment gateway link will be provided once we give you a confirmation on your reservation for the trip.
